Charlottesville Wine & Country Joins Boutiques At Martha’s Market

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (September, 2017) – From September 29 to October 1, 2017, the Women’s Committee of Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital will once again be hosting Martha’s Market. A fundraiser at John Paul Jones Arena, Martha’s market features 80 unique boutiques from the Charlottesville area and across the country, including Charlottesville Wine & Country this year. Wine & Country Collections will showcase a variety of artisan-made items from local woodworkers, crafters, apothecaries and clothiers, as well as handmade food items from farmers, apiarists and many others.

Fifteen percent of each sale is donated to women’s healthcare programs at Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital, with an emphasis on breast cancer screenings and treatment. Several women’s healthcare initiatives, including its Cancer Resource Center and Bi-Annual Breast Health Screening Days, will benefit from this three day shopper’s delight.

A special thanks to this year’s Martha’s Market sponsors: Wells Fargo; The Manning Family Foundation; SMG; SNOW’s Garden Center; Z95.1 and WINA; BMW of Charlottesville; Comcast Spotlight; Mr. and Mrs. Donald A. King, Jr.; Betty M. Lee; NBC29/WVIR-TV; and two anonymous donors.
