CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (July 2000) AlbemarleKids.com announces the premiere of their new print magazine for local families, SPECIAL EDITION. This full size publication is a wonderful follow up to the April publication of their first annual Camp Guide this past April. In the new AlbemarleKids Magazine parents will find entertaining feature articles from wonderful writers like Susan T. Haas, author of the award-winning Charlottesville and Beyond: Great Outings With Families. There are also Harry Potter Party Tips, a guide to local dining that is fun for the kids, Local Lore, and much more!

Written and illustrated by kids for kids, The Clubhouse Times is a pull out page of Special Edition! Over 20 junior journalists donned press badges to interview writers, poll the audience, illustrate, write, design games, and take photographs to create this fun-filled newspaper. It was a one-of-a-kind experience for the kids who participated, it is now a charming newspaper for the kids who read it! The Clubhouse Times also introduces the children?s serial, The Adventures of Annebelle and Charlie, to be written by and for kids at the online Clubhouse.

Copies of Special Edition, which include The Clubhouse Times, are now available at Pediatric offices, libraries, and select shops in Charlottesville and Albemarle.
